Lupo acquires Bobrovsky for 3rd Round Pick

Bobrovsky, a 2-time Vezina trophy winner, had 37 wins last season.
Less than a week from the draft, Joe Lupo made a bold move by acquiring the keeper rights of Columbus goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, arguably the best goalie in the league, by moving one of his three third round picks in exchange for the netminder and his own 14th round pick, which he moved last year in a separate deal. The 26th overall pick will go to Ed and Lupo will receive the 164th overall pick along with Bobrovsky.

Tim Pays Big for Johansson

Johansson put up 58 points with Washington last season before he was traded to New Jersey.
In the final hours before the keeper selection deadline, Tim and Silvio reached an agreement that would send Marcus Johansson of the New Jersey Devils to Tim, along with the 17th and 18th Round Picks in tomorrow's draft, in exchange for Tim's 5th and 7th Round selections. Johansson qualifies as a lifetime keeper. Tim then promptly submitted his keeper selections. The league is still awaiting Silvio's keeper selections.

Lupo sends Hamilton to Alex for a 17th Round Pick

The Flames' Dougie Hamilton has 1 year left of keeper eligibility.
In another last minute move, Alex acquired Dougie Hamilton from Lupo with a 23rd Round Pick in exchange for a 17th Round Pick. Hamilton, a one-time top prospect with the Bruins, struggled a bit last season but finished strong with a 50-point campaign. He is eligible to be kept in the 16th Round and is now Alex's final keeper selection.

Josi heads to Tim for a 13th Round Pick

Josi led the Predators to the Stanley Cup Final in 2016-17.
With the keeper deadline approaching, a few teams are still wheeling and dealing to solidify their positions for the upcoming draft. Brady shipped out Nashville captain Roman Josi, who would have otherwise been turned over to the redraft pool, to Tim with a 19th Round pick in exchange for Tim's 13th Round Pick. Tim's Keepers have yet to be posted.

Corso acquires rights to Matthew Tkachuk for a Third Round Pick

Matthew Tkachuk is just 19 years old.
Ed traded Matthew's Tkachuk's keeper rights and an 18th round pick to Corso in exchange for the 33rd overall pick in the 2017 draft. The trade worked out well for both sides as Corso can keep Tkachuk for four years and Ed replenished a draft pick traded last year in a playoff push. Tkachuk had 13 goals last season but those goals came along with 35 assists, giving him a 48 point rookie campaign. The bruiser also tallied over 100 penalty minutes.
